Intercessions for Pentecost – Sunday 31st May 2020

Dear Lord Jesus, I ask for your will to be done for the United Kingdom’s future.  I ask that you give us wisdom in all that we do, and I ask Lord for your help in the coming 7 months as we chart a course for our future away from the EU.

Lord, I ask that you guide the steps of Boris Johnson in decision making, and that he will choose the right decisions for this country that will rebuild the UK from the damage the pandemic has caused and restructure our various institutions that are no longer fit for purpose and streamline them into how you want them to be.

I ask Lord that you will send your Holy Spirit this coming Pentecost to heal the sick, comfort the lonely and mend the broken-hearted.

Lord Jesus, I ask for renewal of our spirits and to change us ready for the new wine that you wish to give us.

Lord convict us of any hidden sin, and Lord I ask for mercy, and healing for our souls, and to bring us back to you.
